As we browse through a grocery store, we get inspired to try new ingredients and new recipes! This curiosity led to many exciting and adventurous vegetarian concoctions in the kitchen.
Growing up in India and being a vegetarian, Silpa was exposed to a wide variety of Asian influences which are her specialty. As someone who never entered the kitchen, each foray into the culinary world was inspiring! Her recipes are usually simple and quick.
Sriram is the yin to her yang – born to Indian immigrants in the U.S., he loved cooking from a young age. Everything he tries is always of impeccable taste. His recipes are usually more time consuming and gourmet in nature. He is profoundly inspired by the world he traveled – From France to Russia to South Korea to Turkey to China to many countries – each having distinct cooking styles and flavors. He prefers to cook non-Indian food as he gets intimidated with the array of Indian spices.
